Moving Mechanical structures: stress, wear, temperature....

Hi!
I am looking for a textbook that explains/describes for moving mechanical structures (such as linkage mechanism, engines, ... and not buildings, bridges, ...) the stresses, deformation, wear, temperature change, ... due to operating.
E.g. Linkage mechanism: what are/defines the stresses, deformations, temperature distribution, friction, ...

I know that the concepts of stress, wear, friction, ... are very broad, but I am looking for a book that applies it to specific examples.

Does anyone knows good books about this subject?
