Ms temperature raiser elements other than Cobalt?

AI Thread Summary
Elements and compounds other than cobalt that can raise the martensite start temperature (Ms) during the solidification of steel include nickel, manganese, and chromium. These elements influence the phase transformation and stability of the steel's microstructure. In carbon steels, increasing the concentration of these alloying elements can effectively enhance the Ms temperature. Additionally, in Fe-Ni alloys, similar effects are observed with varying nickel content. Understanding these factors is crucial for optimizing the properties of steel and Fe-Ni alloys.

Hi,

Is there any elements or compounds other than cobalt, which raise martensite start temperature during solidification of steel.

Actually I was looking for Ms temperature raisers in carbon steel. But,I will be more than happy if I could get information on Ms temperature raisers in carbon steel as well as Fe-Ni alloys.
