For #1, the parent chain is actually the ethyl chain because it contains the functional group. Also, the ethoxy- nomenclature suggests an ether, not an alcohol.
For #2, it looks ok to me, but I don't remember enough of the nomenclature rules to know whether you have numbered and ordered the substituents correctly.
