New particle discovered at 750 GeV at the LHC?

Can anyone shed more light on this topic that's cropped up on the internet?

To abridge the video, they say that a new particle was found at 750 GEV, about 5 times the mass of the Higgs Boson.

We had some discussion topics about it already, those should be a good start. Short summary: No discovery so far. But an interesting result, that could be a first hint of a particle, or just a statistical fluctuation. We'll know more in August (probably).
