SUMMARY

The discussion centers on cellular regeneration research conducted at the Wexner Medical Center, Ohio State University, led by Chandan K Sen. Reliable sources, including academic publications, are sought to provide more in-depth information beyond popular media coverage. The research shows promise in lab conditions but has yet to be tested on humans, which poses significant challenges. Preliminary human testing could potentially receive FDA approval within three years, contingent on regulatory processes.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of cellular regeneration concepts
  • Familiarity with FDA approval processes for clinical trials
  • Knowledge of scientific research methodologies
  • Basic comprehension of wound healing mechanisms
NEXT STEPS
  • Research Chandan K Sen's publications on wound regeneration
  • Explore FDA guidelines for cellular therapy clinical trials
  • Investigate the implications of lab-to-human translation in biomedical research
  • Review the latest findings in nanotechnology related to cellular regeneration
USEFUL FOR

Researchers, medical professionals, and students interested in advancements in cellular regeneration and wound healing therapies.

I've seen some popular news articles discussing cellular regeneration research carried out at the Wexner medical center in Ohio State University by Chandan K Sen and others . I was wondering if anyone had a source for more information (and more reliable than the popular press) on the topic. See for instance http://www.dispatch.com/news/20170807/ohio-state-researchers-report-breakthrough-in-cell-regeneration.

I should note biology isn't my field.

I cannot find it. One comment - works in lab conditions on test species, not humans. That is often a very big leap. And yes it would be great.
