Meeting “The Man” had been on my bucket-list for a long time. This picture says it all.

This should help.Medicol said:Actually it doesn't say anything to me, except two skinny persons (young and old) are advertising liquors and physics forums T shirts.
Come heather my faithful proselytizer and I’ll show you the way. :DDiracPool said:Dlgoff is a shameless physics proselyte, doing his proslytism wherever he sees fit.
I hope you do. What a good leader we have. The story of his creation of PF is very inspiring to me and will be to many future PFers I'm sure. And to have a brew with him ... wow.lisab said:Very, very nice :)! I'd like to get this same thing crossed off my bucket list, too!

The guy on the left is Greg, he created PF. We refer to him as Lord And Master. On the right is Don, a beloved, longtime PFer:DataGG said:Also interested.. Is any of them supposed to be a famous physicist or something?
Really ? Ohhh this is the first time I see Greg. Many people are afraid to be seen in public. So he doesn't look like an online gamer :D.lisab said:The guy on the left is Greg, he created PF. We refer to him as Lord And Master. On the right is Don, a beloved, longtime PFer:

I'm not sure who posted this said:Waging war on Crackpot tyranny, Spacemites, and Incrulouses, the last Battlestar Captain, Greg, leads a ragtag, nerdly crew, on a lonely quest—in a shining place, abbreviated as PF.
Thank you for clearing that up. I had no idea what the hell that picture was about. It certainly doesn't look anything like the last picture that I saw of him some 10 years or so back when I first joined here. He seems to have lost weight and partially "unnerded" himself.lisab said:The guy on the left is Greg
So you thought Greg was an old man?Danger said:Thank you for clearing that up.
No. I thought that he was young, geeky, and pudgy.dlgoff said:So you thought Greg was an old man?![]()
Being young and geeky is how I recognized him when arriving at the Wisconsin Science Festival. :)Danger said:No. I thought that he was young, geeky, and pudgy.

You do know he's married, right?Danger said:But he's not pudgy any more.![]()
You do know I'm straight, right?dlgoff said:You do know he's married, right?
