SUMMARY

This discussion centers on the search for comprehensive online lectures for Upper-Division Electromagnetism, specifically covering topics such as Legendre polynomials, spherical harmonics, and Maxwell's equations. Users recommend three specific courses: "Electromagnetic Theory" by Prof. D. K. Ghosh, "Electromagnetic Theory" by Prof. Pradeep Kumar, and "Introduction to Electromagnetism" by Prof. Manoj Harbola. These resources are suggested as alternatives to traditional lectures, especially for students struggling with their current professor's teaching style.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of Maxwell's equations
  • Familiarity with Legendre polynomials
  • Knowledge of spherical harmonics
  • Basic concepts in electromagnetism
NEXT STEPS
  • Research "Electromagnetic Theory" by Prof. D. K. Ghosh
  • Explore "Electromagnetic Theory" by Prof. Pradeep Kumar
  • Investigate "Introduction to Electromagnetism" by Prof. Manoj Harbola
  • Study online platforms offering advanced electromagnetism courses
USEFUL FOR

Students of physics, particularly those enrolled in upper-division electromagnetism courses, and educators seeking supplementary teaching materials will benefit from this discussion.

Hello, I just had a quick question. Does anyone have links to online lectures for Upper-Division Electromagnetism? I so far haven’t been able to find much other than a few isolated videos here and there. I’m looking for something that covers Legendre polynomials, spherical harmonics, maxwell’s equations, etc. My professor unfortunately isn’t very good at lecturing since he’s primarily a scientist at LBNL. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TL;DR: How can I begin to gain an understanding of astronomy? Hello there, and thank you in advance to anyone that might answer this. I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post a question like this, as I am new to this website and also very nervous about making a post that others might see/reply to. I am a freshman in high school and I am interested in astronomy. I want to learn about space, but I am not quite sure where to begin. Is there anything that I can do to seriously expand my...
