Particle Physics Table: Find All Particles & Properties

SUMMARY

The discussion centers on finding a comprehensive table of particle properties, including spin, lepton number, and mass. Users recommend the Particle Data Group (PDG) website at pdg.lbl.gov as an authoritative source for such information. Specifically, the "Summary Tables" section provides detailed links to various particle types. Additionally, a user shares a link to a visual chart from cpepphysics.org, although it is noted to be more decorative than practical for quick reference.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of particle physics terminology
  • Familiarity with the Particle Data Group (PDG) resources
  • Basic knowledge of particle properties such as spin and lepton number
  • Ability to navigate scientific databases and tables
NEXT STEPS
  • Explore the "Summary Tables" section on the PDG website for detailed particle information
  • Research the significance of lepton number and its conservation in particle interactions
  • Investigate the properties of specific particles listed in the PDG tables
  • Look for printable resources or charts that summarize particle properties for quick reference
USEFUL FOR

Students, educators, and researchers in particle physics, as well as anyone interested in the properties and classifications of fundamental particles.

Hey there,

Does anyone have a table will all the particles and their respective spin, lepton number, mass, etc etc?

I know I could make one easily, but it'd be much easier if someone had one already, or knew of a site that had one.

How about this?

(dauto beat me to it)

Click on "Summary Tables" and then on the links for whatever kinds of particles you want.

I was looking for simple table, a black and white table that I could print and keep by my side, to check for conservations... The link you gave me is a nice wallpaper to hang on my bedroom though. I'll see if I find a place that prints it, cheaply, so I can add that one to my collection.

PDG http://pdg.lbl.gov/ is a good place to look for any table about particle properties.

Thank you (both) for the link! Way too "deep", but very interesting!
