How did you find PF?
Asked copilot / chatgpt for alternative sites to post ideas to…
Software engineer by profession ( 10-15 years experience)…

Curious about -
Gravity, perpetual motion, quantum and nuclear physics…

Also the odd physics problem like going faster than the tail wind…

Have some thoughts to share on how we convey gravity abd few on perpetual motion and would like some (constructive) feedback…

There are a couple of threads about "sailing" downwind faster than the wind. One is here. I'm sure there's another, but my search is failing me right now.

Thank you. I guess I’ll have to stick to more conventional topics. It doesn’t specifically mention perpetual motion though but does speak about theories that are not main-stream so it is implicit I guess.

The feedback is always the same: it's not possible. I don't understand why people would want to waste their time on such things, but it's your time in the end, not mine...

Why would you want to discuss nonsense when you could be learning actual science?

Yes it does, in the 2nd post on Forbidden Topics:

You would probably find that Insights Article linked above to be helpful.

Since this thread is only for brief introductions, it is now closed.
