Integral by any chance? meaning, if you integrate e to the power of x , you get the same.

I`m thinking i may have made my clues a little too hard! So to give you an insight into my warped mind here is the solution to No 11.

Q. God starts the week from a distance
A. Latin prefix for a god = Dia
Start of week = Monday = mon
Distance is quite simply D
Therefore PF member name is ... Diamond!

Good luck on Number 41, it`s probably not as hard

1. The green eyed monster
2. The four-wheeled bug
3. The yellow thingy

Now, my associations are, of course, indubitably correct, now I must combine them together.

Hmm...

The yellow thingy  would be a Sea King. Ivan Seeking[/color]

  • #172
Perhaps it's some sort of one-eyed thingy instead?
I'm sure the eye is important.

rosie waters has a much too mundane answer.

Is the answer flop?

Since nobody seemed to be getting them, the answer to two of mine are:

37. Harry Haller's Indian brother :

siddharth

Hermann Hesse wrote a novel called "Steppenwolf," where the main character's name was Harry Haller. He also wrote a novel called "Siddhartha" where the main character's name was Siddhartha. Since Siddhartha and Harry Haller are both creations of Hesse, he's like their father, so they're like brothers. Siddhartha was Indian of course, so that's how that clue worked. "Siddhartha" and "siddharth" (the PF member) are spelled slightly differently, but I doubt that was throwing anyone off.

35. Some foreigners' request in cold weather :

Borogoves

It's supposed to sound like "borrow gloves." Yeah, it was a bad clue, I know.
