The discussion revolves around a game where participants create cryptic clues that hint at the usernames of members from the Physics Forums (PF). Players guess the usernames based on the clues and provide their reasoning. The clues vary in difficulty, with some being straightforward while others are more complex and require deeper associations or knowledge. Examples include clues referencing literary works, scientific terms, and pop culture. Participants actively engage by solving clues, confirming answers, and suggesting new ones, creating a lively and interactive atmosphere. The game encourages creativity and lateral thinking, with players often discussing the rationale behind their guesses and the connections to the usernames. Overall, the thread showcases a fun and intellectual challenge among forum members, fostering community interaction.

39. To stun, begin perfectly and end alphabetically

Yeah, it might be too cryptic. The actual username has nothing to do with cold weather, or foreigners, or requests, but if you read the name, it might sound like something someone might request in cold weather, if he's got an accent like certain foreigners.

37. Harry Haller's Indian brother >Pablo?<

38. Harry Haller's alterego >Steppenwolf?<

Actually, the "request" in 35 might sound more like that of a young child, not a foreigner. It could go either way. I think this clue might not be that good, so if no one gets it by page 11, I'll just say what it is.
