Primary voltage on a transformer

    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
    a transformer with a core flux of 5 milliwebers has a primary winding of 1000 turns
    calcuate the primary voltage if the transformer operates at 50 Hz cycle.

    Im following a self paced work book, and to my knowledge, I cant seem to find the formula for this equation. any help would be greatly apperciated!

    Look up Faraday's Law of Induction, and see the "Basic Principles" section of the wikipedia article on the Transformer.
