Since (apparently) no one else has mentioned this, it seems appropriate to note in this forum the passing of Prof Rudolf Haag who departed this world on 5 Jan 2016.

(I only became aware of this when his final (unfinished) paper was posted on the arXiv.)

I remember reading a bit ago that Wightman passed away too. According to Wikipedia, Wightman and Haag were both born in 1922. Looking it up, I see Kastler died last year. He was born a bit later, 1926.
