Yes, he is/was truly legendary.
 
I remember when "Thriller" was released. It both sounded and looked (video) so different to other music at that time. And there were so many good songs on that album.

I always wondered how there could be so many excellent songs on an album.
Later I found out it was intentional; the idea was to create an album full of hits.
 
"Thriller", gosh, what a cool and excellent song... and the dancing... it is just pop mastery.
