Simulation Inhomogeneous Compound Semiconductor Thin Films

Click For Summary
SUMMARY

The discussion focuses on the challenges faced by an undergraduate student interested in simulating inhomogeneous compound semiconductor thin films, specifically referencing the paper "A Theoretical Study on Van Der Pauw Measurement Values of Inhomogeneous Compound Semiconductor Thin Films." The student seeks guidance on simulation methods and programs used in the research but struggles to find appropriate resources. A suggestion is made to seek supervision from professors at their institution for more effective guidance.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of semiconductor physics
  • Familiarity with simulation software for material science
  • Knowledge of Van Der Pauw measurement techniques
  • Basic research methodology skills
NEXT STEPS
  • Research simulation software options such as COMSOL Multiphysics or MATLAB for semiconductor applications
  • Learn about Van Der Pauw measurement principles and their application in semiconductor research
  • Explore academic resources on inhomogeneous versus homogeneous semiconductor materials
  • Seek mentorship from faculty members specializing in semiconductor physics or materials science
USEFUL FOR

This discussion is beneficial for undergraduate students in materials science, semiconductor researchers, and anyone interested in the simulation of semiconductor properties.

I'm not good at English. I'm a undergraduate student.
I'm interested in this research.
I'm interested the simulation part but I don't know how to start.
Please guiding me how to simulate method or program did they use on paper.

I want to compare Inhomogeneous and homogeneous.
Everyday i find how to simulate but not found correct way.

I send e-mail to yusato@ipc.akita-u.ac.jp but no response.
Help me please. Thank you very much.

Dear UnArkham,
This needs a supervisor in your school. Online supervision on a research problem is not productive. I recommend seeking help from professors in your school.
Best wishes in your research

OK, I will try to learn by myself. It may be difficult for me but i will try it.

Thank you very much. :)
