Homework Statement


Given Y=Ae-t/(lambda) find the half life in terms of A and lambd


Homework Equations


Im not sure if my teacher accidentally wrote lambda instead of tau, because some websites i have visited has done Ae-t times lambda, or Ae-t/(tau), if this is the case tell me.
Im also not sure if t(1/2)=ln2/lambda or ln2 *lambda. please clear my confuses and help me on problem (1).!

τ is a time, and λ is a one-over-time …
