Speed of electromagnetic radiation

    Does electromagnetic radiation emitted by cold hydrogen gas travel at the speed of light?

    Yes. The speed of light is the speed of light. It doesn't matter where the light came from.

    All kinds of electromagnetic radiation travel at the same speed. Light is electromagnetic radiation just like radio waves, microwaves, IR, UV, X-rays and gamma radiation.
