To prepare for physics, mathematics, and astronomy Olympiads, it's essential to focus on problem-solving skills and theoretical understanding. Recommended resources include Halliday and Resnick for physics practice, as they provide comprehensive problems that align well with Olympiad standards. Additionally, online platforms such as the one at olimpiads.win.tue.nl offer relevant problems, while the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) website features past problems that can serve as valuable practice. Engaging with community threads on platforms like Physics Forums can also provide insights and additional resources for effective study strategies.

However, before I get onto ultrafast optics I need to improve my electrodynamics knowledge. Should I study Jackson or Zangwill for Electrodynamics? My level at the moment is Griffiths. Given my interest in ultrafast optics in condensed matter, I am not sure which book is better suited for me. If...
