Temperature vs. Energy
Hi,
I am reading an article about supernovae. At one point, it mentions a:
"central temperature around 10^10 K (or approximately 1 MeV)."
However, K is a unit of temperature, while MeV is a unit of energy. Is this a typo?
Thanks.

Not a typo, it just assumes you are familiar with conversion using Boltzmann's constant.

##E\approx kT## where ##k\approx8.617\times 10^{-5}eV/K##
