I have heard different things about this reaction and its products. For practicality, I would appreciate a comprehensive formula, including heat/energy on both sides if you wouldn't mind. Let me rephrase my self: I would like someone to completely explain what happens in this reaction. How much energy is required for activation/given off, what exactly is produced, and any other information. I ask this, because i have heard conflicting statements about what happens when the two react, and i would like some clarification.
