If I look physicsforums site in mobile, then much of space is covered by Google ads. Often some big add comes from top of the page that covers most of page. it is closeable by clicking, but it still disturbs. also very many ads between posts. almoust after every click to new thread big ad that covers most of the page that has to be closed every time. it is not so if I look from PC.

Are you logged in when this happens? I log in and all that disappears.

It does do the trick though.

I must admit if a site offers me a service for free (like: https://readcomiconline.li) I look at their ads (even if they're not targeted at me and if it's isn't too much). After all that's how they make their money.

It's a little like podcasters that overestimate how many of their listeners need's to hire a person.

Youtube stopping in the middle of something can make me a little mad though.

A little bit of topic drift, but I notice something like that on YouTube also. Not always. Easier to handle when on desktop or laptop. They are too much trouble when Y.T. on mobile.

IIRC there's an option on the login page to "remember me" on the current device so you don't have to log in every time you visit. It expires after some period of time, but long enough that I don't remember the details.
