Which are the top universities in the US for graduate studies in nuclear physics?

i haven't entered into a university yet but from what i know, i dun think there is nuclear physics, only nuclear engineering.

Nuclear physics is a highly developed research field. It's basically the study of the structure of the atomic nucleus, by shooting projectiles (neutrons, protons, alpha particles, lighter nuclei) at them and analyzing the results.

It's also very different from high-energy elementary particle physics.
