In summary, the conversation discusses an issue with the post counter on the Physics Forums website. It is noted that posts made on the mobile app do not count towards the post count, and posts made in the PF Lounge forums also do not contribute to the count. The issue is clarified and the participants express their understanding.

Also note that posts in the PF Lounge forums, which this is a part of, do not count in your post count.

Again, as has been mentioned, if you use the mobile app, the forum software does not count your posts. So unless you can verify which ones you made via the app and which ones on the webpage itself, it is hard to know if there is a real bug here or not.

Summarizing:

Posts made via the app do not add to your post count
Posts made in the PF Lounge forums do not add to you post count

Is this clear?
