SUMMARY

This discussion centers on the search for video lectures specifically focused on lattices in mathematics and their relation to number theory. The user expresses a preference for structured learning through video content, while Senmeis suggests that foundational knowledge should be acquired through books, particularly referencing Birkhoff's work. The conversation highlights a gap in available introductory video resources on the topic.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of lattice theory in mathematics
  • Familiarity with number theory concepts
  • Knowledge of Birkhoff's contributions to lattice theory
  • Basic video lecture platforms such as YouTube
NEXT STEPS
  • Research Birkhoff's "Lattice Theory" for foundational knowledge
  • Explore YouTube for existing video lectures on lattice theory
  • Investigate online courses that cover lattices in mathematics
  • Look for academic resources or MOOCs related to number theory and lattices
USEFUL FOR

Students of mathematics, educators seeking teaching resources, and anyone interested in the intersection of lattice theory and number theory.

TL;DR
lattices
Hi,

I’m looking for video lectures on lattices in mathematics (or lattices in computer science) which might be related to number theory. Could anyone recommend some?

Read book!

Do you mean introduction to theory? Work with a book, instead. Birkhoff comes to mind. I found some videos on lattices in youtube, but they are not introductions to theory.
