Hi,

Im on a university level physics course and we do weekly 4 hour sessions in the labs doing a different experiment every week.

I don't have a specific question.

I am asking if anyone has any guidence on keep a good lab book while doing the experiment?

They have given us pointers and I've asked a few times for some guidence but still seem to only get around 60%

I currently try to give as much info as to what I'm trying to do and what i think of results etc, I calculate errors etc.

Does anyone know any good sites with guides to writing them etc?

Cheers!

Different professors have different expectations, so it's difficult to give any clear-cut advice. I would recommend that you politely ask a fellow student in your class who does well on the labs if you can review their work.
