What are the key factors in understanding crash testing?

hello everyone, I'm doing a presententation on the physics of crash testing next week. It should be around 10-12 mins, and I need to cover Environmental, Social, Technological and obviously Physics of the topic.

Any help, tips, or information would be greatly appreciated? even book names that might help are good.
