Click For Summary

Discussion Overview

The discussion revolves around the steps and considerations involved in forming an AI team to develop artificial intelligence systems. Participants explore motivations, methodologies, and technical challenges related to AI development, including practical learning through hands-on experience.

Discussion Character

  • Exploratory, Technical explanation, Debate/contested, Conceptual clarification

Main Points Raised

  • One participant expresses a desire to create an AI that can perform various tasks, inviting others to engage in the discussion.
  • Another participant questions the purpose behind forming an AI team, suggesting a need for clarity on the goals.
  • Some participants emphasize that practical experience is a valuable way to learn about AI development.
  • A question is posed regarding the choice between top-down or bottom-up approaches in AI development.
  • One participant shares their current focus on developing a BackPropagation-Code Model, noting challenges with creating a suitable virtual environment and input-output system.

Areas of Agreement / Disagreement

There appears to be no consensus on the motivations for forming an AI team, as some participants question the purpose while others advocate for experiential learning. Additionally, the choice of development approach remains open for discussion.

Contextual Notes

Participants mention specific technical challenges related to AI development, such as the implementation of backpropagation and the creation of a virtual environment, but do not resolve these issues or provide definitive solutions.

Who May Find This Useful

Individuals interested in forming AI teams, those exploring practical AI development methods, and participants curious about the technical challenges of AI implementation may find this discussion relevant.

In terms of Computers and Technology, Artificial Intelligence is the next step. Now A friend of mine and I are forming a team, to say the least, to create an AI that will perform the functions and tasks requested of it. For specifics or if you are interested Private Message me. I am also opening this thread for anyone who has questions or a tingling curiosity.

The best way to learn is through doing it.

Good luck. Top-down or bottom-up? Or both?

Trying to develop a working BackPropagation-Code Model. I have most of the math and theory down... just having trouble with making a suitable Virtual Environment and Input-Output system for the AI... I may have to scrap the BP idea for now.
