Hi all,

I love riddles and occasionally try to write them. Here's one that I like because it rhymes (although it's super easy).

Small as a pebble, deadly as a boulder
Used by the rebel, but mostly by the soldier
What am I?
Have you made any riddles that you'd be willing to share?

Physics news on Phys.org
The answer is a grenade. Easy but nice riddle.
Let me try!
I hide the hole and cut the sheet
I form when the mass goes like a fleet
I swallow things and they give heat
Now tell what am I but with no cheat
(Wow man...I didn't know I'm this good at it!)

The only thing I can think of:
event horizon?

OK, I think I try once more.

Although everyone says we can't double
Our heavy friends can make us a couple
If its cold enough, we form and pile on
We roam freely, we get lights on
We make you happy, since guys don't resist
Now tell what we are, yeah we insist

Electron?
Pauli exclusion, fermionic condensate, conduction and electricity. Not sure about the heavy friends, though I am guessing it refers to spin orbital coupling

No, but near!
You're missing two key points, and the heavy friends is one of them.

With strong emotion, I part ways
From what beholds the clouds and waves
A touch of sadness, a touch of pain
The way to move me's hard to feign
