You can feel bad for Duke, too. He has a habit of flipping his muzzle up under my hands, arms, etc to get my attention. This afternoon, my foot (propped up on the ottoman) was the nearest part of me to him when he wanted to play ball. I screamed and he looked at me with sad eyes, like "What did I do?" I had to reassure him to get him to relax. He had been in an abusive environment at some point, judging from his reactions to people holding stuff that looks like a stick, etc, so I didn't want to let him feel sad about something beyond his control.dlgoff said:I won't say "E..." out loud. But you've convinced me to feel for you; not Duke.

Virtually pets Duke, taking him for a virtual walk and to play.
