Hi everyone,

I have this question for you:

In Instrumentation, when connecting the input of one circuit to the output of another circuit,(for instance, connecting the output of a sensor to the input of an amplifier circuit), a loading problem may arise, could you explain to this problem ? And give an example? I searched through Google, but nothing interesting was found.
Does this mean, we need a signal conditioning circuit ? if yes explain as well :)

Thanks in advance

Is this a homework question?

Signal outputs have a specified impedance, that is the ratio of signal voltage to signal current. Signal inputs also have a specified impedance. It is important that the impedance of instrumentation connections be of matched. For RF instrumentation, 50 ohm coaxial cable is used to connect 50 ohm outputs to 50 ohm inputs. Impedance matching is very important for efficient transfer of energy and for accurate measurements.
