A member's age is visible in his profile if he has entered the information and chosen to make it visible. (My PF --> Edit Your Details).
 
I don't have a problem with giving my age, except that my wife constantly emphasizes to me that I am in great personal danger if I reveal her age or my age or the difference in our ages or any other information that a good problem solver could use to get a close approximation to her age.

The other night at a social engagement, I was asked directly "What is the difference in your ages?" Instead of replying "Top secret information!", I gave the actual number. Boy, did I catch it in the car on the way home! True story.

As I recall, several years ago we had an age poll. It was a bimodal distribution: one local maxima at about 20, the other at about 45.
