I What is the angle of the Sun on June 21 & Dec 21 at US Zip Code 37129?

AI Thread Summary
The angle of the sun at zip code 37129 is approximately 74.5° on June 21 and about 26.7° on December 21. On February 20, the sun's angle is estimated to be around 39.3°. These calculations are based on the sun's declination and the latitude of the location. For optimal solar panel positioning, understanding these angles is crucial, especially for winter months. Accurate data can be found using specific astronomical resources or calculators.

TL;DR Summary
What is angle of sun June 21 & Dec 21 at 37129
What is angle of Sun June 21 & Dec 21 at zip code 37129. I need lowest angle & highest angle and probably angle of sun about Feb 20.

Google word search shows nothing. I am probably need using correct word search to find what I want. Several years ago I accidently found a calendar that showed angle of sun buy date & zip code. I have no clue what word search is needed to find what I need.

I think our sun at 37129 is about 34° Dec 21 and about 88° June 21. I also need Feb 20.

I am setting up a solar project for the best angle for coldest part of winter.

I have referred to Reed's Astro Navigation Tables for a random year.
On 21 June the Sun's Declination is about 23 deg 26 min North of the equator. On 21 Dec it is 23 deg 26 min South of the equator. On 20 Feb it is 10 deg 51 min South of the equator. You are in latitude 39 deg 54 min North according to this web site: https://www.freemaptools.com/convert-us-zip-code-to-lat-lng.htm
To find the Sun's altitude, we use some simple geometry, see this web site:
https://sciencing.com/calculate-suns-altitude-8556649.html
At 21 June, Sun's Altitude is 90 - Latitude + Sun's Dec
Sun's Alt = (89d 60m) - (39d 54m) + ( 23d 26m) = 74d 32m
At 21 December, Sun's Altitude is 90 - Latitude - Sun's Dec
Sun's Alt = (89d 60m) - (39d 54m) - ( 23d 26m) = 26d 40m
At 10 Feb, Sun's Altitude is 90 - Latitude + sun's Dec
Sun's Alt = (89d 60m - (39d 54m) - (10d 51m) = 39d 15m

Thread 'A quartet of epi-illumination methods'
Well, it took almost 20 years (!!!), but I finally obtained a set of epi-phase microscope objectives (Zeiss). The principles of epi-phase contrast is nearly identical to transillumination phase contrast, but the phase ring is a 1/8 wave retarder rather than a 1/4 wave retarder (because with epi-illumination, the light passes through the ring twice). This method was popular only for a very short period of time before epi-DIC (differential interference contrast) became widely available. So...
Hello ! As we know by definition that: "Constructive interference occurs when the phase difference between the waves is an even multiple of π (180°), whereas destructive interference occurs when the difference is an odd multiple of π." But my question is in the case of destructive interference, what happens to the energy carried by the two electromagnetic waves that annihilate, the energy carried by the electromagnetic waves also disappears, or is transformed into some other type of...
I am currently undertaking a research internship where I am modelling the heating of silicon wafers with a 515 nm femtosecond laser. In order to increase the absorption of the laser into the oxide layer on top of the wafer it was suggested we use gold nanoparticles. I was tasked with modelling the optical properties of a 5nm gold nanoparticle, in particular the absorption cross section, using COMSOL Multiphysics. My model seems to be getting correct values for the absorption coefficient and...
