What Is the Best Math Text Editor for Windows?

Hi there. I'm looking for a good text editor, that also is a good math notation editor. I currently use openoffice as text editor, and I have openoffice.Math but couldn't integrate it with the Writer. Is there a better alternative, remembering I need text and math editor together?

If you don't mind (or perhaps even prefer) LaTeX documents and your are on Windows, then WinEdt may suit your needs.
