What is the significance of a Quantum Top in Chaichian & Demichev's work?

I just was taking a look at the book "Introduction to Quantum Groups" by Chaichian and Demichev, where in the introduction part, I ran to the following:

it is well known, that classical limit of a quantum system on a sphere (quantum top) corresponds to infinite value of a spin but not to zero value of $\hbar$

What are they talking about?
I googled it but there was nothing, nothing even near it!
