AI Thread Summary
The discussion revolves around issues encountered while performing MicroCT scans, specifically regarding the quantification of Bone Mineral Density (BMD) without using phantom rods. The user is facing a problem during the reconstruction of a phantom scan in NRecon, receiving an error message indicating that the selected angle is too small, which prevents the generation of the necessary data file. Recommendations include contacting Bruker for support or searching their website for solutions related to the specific error message. Additionally, it is noted that the SkyScan 1272 scanner is maintenance-free and that software updates can be found on the Bruker microCT website.

So, my lab started doing some MicroCT scans, and they designed me to learn and try to solve some problems. The first issue that I noticed by doing some research both in some papers and in the manual from Bruker, it's that they tried to quantify the "BMD" without using the Phantom rods. So they did the scan for the phantom.

But now, everytime I try to reconstruct the phantom scan on the NRecon, it shows the message in the image linked on the post.

Does anyone knows what is causing this or how to fix this issue?

It appears you've selected too small an angle ie < 7.5 degrees so the process failed to generate a data file needed for the next process. That process failed when it couldn't find the file.

I would contact the Bruker company about the error or look on their website to see if they have answered the same question using the error text as part of your search.

The study provides critical new insights into the African Humid Period, a time between 14,500 and 5,000 years ago when the Sahara desert was a green savanna, rich in water bodies that facilitated human habitation and the spread of pastoralism. Later aridification turned this region into the world's largest desert. Due to the extreme aridity of the region today, DNA preservation is poor, making this pioneering ancient DNA study all the more significant. Genomic analyses reveal that the...
Whenever these opiods are mentioned they usually mention that e.g. fentanyl is "50 times stronger than heroin" and "100 times stronger than morphine". Now it's nitazene which the public is told is everything from "much stronger than heroin" and "200 times stronger than fentany"! Do these numbers make sense at all? How do they arrive at them? Kill thousands of mice? En passant: nitazene have already been found in both Oxycontin pills and in street "heroin" here, so Naloxone is more...
