Sorry for going slightly off-topic... but this could explain why some have a hard time finding Egypt...

My feeling is that the Russians are the 'masters' of the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcohol_belts_of_Europe#Vodka_belt". They use vodka as water... even for breakfast! :bugeye:

Swedes and WI folks seem to have a lot in common...

Here’s where we differ... no real hard-core Midsummer partyer would lose any time going to the hospital for something this basic... all you need is http://evus.webblogg.se/images/2010/fylla_118869681.jpg" ! (<-- Warning! Absolutely NOT for sensitive users!)

Seriously, the Midsummer partying was very thrilling at 15. At 20 it had become 'routine', and at 25 you started to be ashamed over those "drinking savages" (especially in front of foreigners :blushing:). There’s A LOT of boozing going on that night (in all ages)... make no mistake about it...

No wonder the English were so damned afraid of your ancestors!
"Summa pia gratia nostra conservando corpora et custodita, de gente fera Normannica nos libera, quae nostra vastat, Deus, regna."(St. Vaast or St. Medard)
trans:
"Our supreme and holy Grace, protecting us and ours, deliver us, God, from the savage race of Northmen which lays waste our realms" (St. Vaast or St. Medard)

It was clearly the advantage of sheer stubborn booziness!

edit: Great links... I think that's how Elvis died...

I don't care how we got here... this is the most laughs I've had all day. Given the context, I think it's more than necessary.

The wenches have all moved down here to the South (USA). A few years ago, my local newspaper had a report on a county council meeting in which the main subject was the next year's budget. One councilman wondered why so many departments had to have pickup trucks with "four-wheel drive and wenches."

Hmmmm... I wonder if there are Wenches in Egypt? What would an Egyptian 'Wench' be like?!

Better yet, how about a Yemeni or Libyan wench! Scaaary.

LOL when I found "Egypt". This is a real geography lesson. :approve:
As we all know, Egypt's capital is located at 33°20′N 44°26′E.

>exasparated sigh< That's not east, that's south, you know, like, near the south pole. Gimme a break and put some factual accuracy in your reports.

Though it could use a little more oxygen, its a great land deal that rivals the Louisiana Purchase. Wisconsin got left behind.I'm laughing so much that everyone is going to think I'm crazy... wait I'm already crazy... you people have made me crazier! You --- >gasp cough choke<
Sorry, I must have passed out there from laughing so much... Or maybe its due to the carbon dioxide...

Yeah... well I got a C in geography, lo those many years ago... Mars... Egypt... close enough.

C stands for Courage, Creativity, and Craziness. The good craziness, like Einstein, not the bad craziness, like your common supervillian. Then there's the other kind of craziness, which is: "Look, there's a banana walking across the hall!"

Mars and Egypt. If you went to one of them, you'd be able to go to the other one afterwards. If you went to the other one first, you wouldn't be able to go to the first one. Unless you put on a space suit.
