The discussion revolves around a past dating experience from 2005, where the original poster expresses frustration over perceived "rules" in dating, particularly regarding a woman who he felt treated their interaction like a game with strict guidelines. The poster believes that the woman was unfairly rigid in her decisions about their potential relationship, particularly after she indicated she was considering another person. Respondents argue that the original poster misinterprets social dynamics, emphasizing that relationships are not governed by fixed rules but rather by emotions and individual preferences. They point out that attempts to manipulate feelings or express neediness can be off-putting, and that the woman likely did not feel a romantic attraction. The conversation highlights the importance of understanding emotional connections over rigid frameworks and suggests that the poster's fixation on past events may indicate deeper issues that require attention. Overall, the consensus is that the original poster should move on and recognize that feelings cannot be logically refuted or manipulated.

What's with the woman thing? They are warm and fun to shower with. Everyone has issues. I just let it go, grab a sponge and exfoliate. I avoid discussing showers with guys, most that seem interested appear to have gay tendencies.
