WiFi signal strength in Tunnels & Subways.

AI Thread Summary
WiFi signal strength is notably low in tunnels, subways, and underground areas, leading to a lack of wireless network access during travel. Technical solutions, such as the implementation of "leaky feeder" systems, can enhance connectivity by providing continuous WiFi and phone service throughout these environments. While some tunnels utilize this technology, many do not, indicating that the issue is not a technological barrier but rather a matter of implementation. Identifying specific tunnels that lack adequate wireless infrastructure could help address this connectivity challenge.

TL;DR Summary
WiFi signal strength in Tunnels & Subways.
As we see the WiFi signal strength is very low as observed in Tunnels, Subways & Undergrounds while we travel in a train or walk. We do not get the wireless network.

Can there be any technical solutions for increasing the Wireless signal strength in these areas?

Can this be considered a technological barrier?

Many tunnels have a "leaky feeder" system that provides continuous WiFi, phone and radio throughout the tunnel.

I do not believe there is a technological barrier, it has simply not been implemented in your sample of tunnels. Where are the tunnels that need it ?

Thread 'Urgent: Physically repair - or bypass - power button on Asus laptop'
Asus Vivobook S14 flip. The power button is wrecked. Unable to turn it on AT ALL. We can get into how and why it got wrecked later, but suffice to say a kitchen knife was involved: These buttons do want to NOT come off, not like other lappies, where they can snap in and out. And they sure don't go back on. So, in the absence of a longer-term solution that might involve a replacement, is there any way I can activate the power button, like with a paperclip or wire or something? It looks...
