Women are better at just about everything

The discussion centers around the assertion that women excel in various areas compared to men, touching on topics such as driving, map reading, and reflexes. Participants debate the validity of claims made by author Dan Abrams, who suggests women outperform men in many fields, including video games. While some acknowledge women's advantages in certain skills, others argue against the blanket statement that women are better at everything, citing individual differences and the importance of recognizing strengths and weaknesses within genders. The conversation also veers into humorous territory, with light-hearted jabs about traditional gender roles and capabilities, such as cooking and driving. Overall, the thread reflects a mix of admiration for women's abilities and skepticism about generalizations regarding gender superiority.

I have discovered if I show that I am better doing something, then I get stuck doing it.
I agree with Kevin, men are better, and they should do everything with their big strong muscles{flutters eyes}, and their highly superior brains{slowly puts on lip gloss}. Now you wait right there, I got to put a pie in the oven.

Women may be safer drivers, but that doesn't make them better drivers. When one can manage a curve with a 90 mph power slide on a gravel road, we can talk about better.

Funny thing wrt to the farmers around here. It used to be that young men were hired to run the big equipement during the harvest season. But by far the farmers now prefer to hire young women. Why? When you put two young men in a field with combines, you have a race!

Men are better at writing their name in the snow while peeing.

Women can do that, but not very well. You can't read it due to all the footsteps.

Now women can do it with sub-micron accuracy. Science to the rescue: http://www.shewee.com/newstore/

That must be lots of fun to clean...

I'll stick with being a guy on that... oh, and I'm really a fan of not getting pregnant too. There are a few upsides to being a woman that guys do not see as ups.

Why is there only one woman in the top 100 of FIDE ranking (chess)?

And seriously, why is there a woman chess world championship and a men's one?!

Because the wimpy male chess players would be too self conscious to take showers with the girls. And then they would smell. Nobody wants that.

Duh.

I think most male chess players would be THRILLED to take showers with girls; it'd be their first.

I'm a 'Go' guy.

We have one or two female fighters as well. And with how many planes we have, that's a lot :P
Another Romanian chick is a test pilot for SAAB in Sweden as far as I know.

"The reason I created Pac-Man was because we wanted to attract female gamers," he says. "Back then, there were no home games. People had to go to the arcade center to play games. That was a playground for boys. It was dirty and smelly. So we wanted to include female players, so it would become cleaner and brighter."

Well, the legendary Pac-Man creator, Toru Iwatani, has just given ammo to our gals.

What a traitor!

I thought Ms. Pac-Man was the targeted game... if not... why make it?

Yeah... I'm really REALLY REALLY not a fan of implants... and nothing says, "I have a hole where my self-esteem should be" like pushing your fake breasts together for GoDaddy.

Hell, in my view she's not even pretty... just somewhat healthy.

She's not pretty compared to whom? You sir must be a beautiful man with very high standards

I didn't say she's ugly... she's... plain. Her face is a little square, and she never looks... genuine.

Pretty and beautiful often occur in the absence of being "hot", but we all know which lasts. My standard is in the face above all, not that a hot body doesn't rile me up too... it's just not enough, or required.

As for me... yeah... "I'm like Zeus in a Speedo."

I misread the context of your statement, taking it too literally. Perhaps being relegated to plain and not pretty instead of hot has left a gaping hole where her self esteem used to be.

Maybe having to be some kind of sex symbol instead of just a NASCAR driver did it? I have no clue, her self-esteem is probably great, and she just wants the money... who knows.

In the end, my point is that regular healthy features alone do not pretty make... it's just youthful health, not lasting. Look at a woman like Helen Mirren... now, she's FAR too old for me, and I don't find her attractice, but she's beautiful.
