Hello, I will be looking for work in about a year after I receive my degree in nuclear engineering. Around that time I will also be getting married to a wonderful Iranian lady. My question is, how much are my chances diminished getting a job in a national lab or utilities if I marry her?

Well, as a non-American, my opinion is that, if that's a risk, perhaps you're living on the wrong country...

See if the jobs you want require a security clearance. If so, you will lose the job if you don't get the clearance. People who approve or deny clearances aren't bound by any laws concerning anti-discrimination or that type of fairness (in the USA). You might have a problem even if you don't marry.
