Work is a Bear! Trapped in Office Last Night

I was trapped in my office last night waiting for the bear to leave. He [apparently] even tried to stick his head in the cat door!

I was just getting ready to head up at about midnight when I heard him right outside the door. And I didn't have my flashlight, so I was completely blind and didn't want to take a chance on a move for the car.

I don't know if he knew I was here. And I figured he would probably run if I opened the door but I didn't want to take a chance. That he was so comfortable rummaging around was not reassuring. But as I've said before, I now suspect he or others have been coming around for a long time. I just never knew it.

I'd bet that I've come very close to an encounter several times.
