I'm thinking this matrix would be undefined but I can't remember why I think it should be! Eek!

This makes no sense. How are you supposed to get a matrix to display an equation?

If you can create your own simultaneous equations, then all you have to do is create an augmented matrix and you're done.

Thats what I'm saying! This question absolutely boggles me. I don't understand how to make a matrix out of this unless it is simply [-10].

funny idea, but maybe you could try making it like x = (-10)I
so it'll be like a matrix with a diagonal of -10
