TL;DR Summary
some collection of ideas (including against official Nobel rules) for Nobel prize 2019
Hi folks,

in some previous years, I think it was a bit easier (e.g., gravitational waves), but what is your guess for this year: who will / who should win a physics Nobel medal 2019? I'm also more interested in the actual research than in the individuals, so if you don't want to pin it to a single name or if it is a collaboration, that's fine. Just a collection of your thoughts...

Good one, I like it. Maybe then also to some people for the recent loophole-free Bell tests? But there, I couldn't make a choice.

Anyways, other ideas?

To piggyback off that: Anton Zeilinger.

Zeilinger, for the loophole-free Bell tests.

comparing a flat solar panel of area 2π r² and a hemisphere of the same area, the hemispherical solar panel would only occupy the area π r² of while the flat panel would occupy an entire 2π r² of land. wouldn't the hemispherical version have the same area of panel exposed to the sun, occupy less land space and can therefore increase the number of panels one land can have fitted? this would increase the power output proportionally as well. when I searched it up I wasn't satisfied with...
