How much water is needed to increase relative humidity in a bunker?

Here is a rough drawing of what I'm dealing with. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ywv6ikgpkooc3ib/Photo%2012-11-2013%2C%209%2045%2007%20AM.jpg I would assume No heat loss as bunker inside temperature is equal to bunker exterior temperature. This air comes in from the adjacent area which has...

How much water is needed to increase relative humidity in a bunker?

We call it a bunker on site but a better term would be a silo. It is a metal container which is located inside. It is a safe assumtion that the intitial inside conditions are the same as the incoming air (air is pulled through filtered grates) This is what I've done so far: (leas note I was...

How much water is needed to increase relative humidity in a bunker?

Ok What If i were to have the following conditions. Volume of space: 2200m^3 Temperature: 20°C Initial Relative Humidity: 18% Desired Relative Humidity: 65% Air exhauted from space at: 0.25m^3/s How much water would I have to spray in per hour or second to achieve that humidity level?

How much water is needed to increase relative humidity in a bunker?

Not really following you. So if say at 20°C the vapor pressure is 2.3 kPa how much water per volume do i need?

How much water is needed to increase relative humidity in a bunker?

I have to design a system to increase the relative humidity in a bunker. I would like to use a spray nozzle and service water. How could I determine how much the relative humidity would raiser per volume of water sprayed into the bunker. Known: - Volume of Bunker - Temperature - Initial...

Is there an intrinsically safe combustible dust monitor for wood pellets?

Very Intresting. I will contact the manufacturer! Thanks!

Is there an intrinsically safe combustible dust monitor for wood pellets?

Yes it would work, But I can't find a product that exists.

Is there an intrinsically safe combustible dust monitor for wood pellets?

Unfortunatly they don't deal with dust monitors.

Is there an intrinsically safe combustible dust monitor for wood pellets?

I have been tasked with what seems an almost impossible feat. It sounds simple but for some reason it is not. I am looking for a device that can monitor combustible dust, in this case wood dust from pellets. It must be able to handle concentrations of 50g/m^3. The area to be monitored is a...

Heat Pump Design: Components & Assembly Guide

Thanks for the help. I'm going to have to go to my Project supervisor for some serious advice. I think I'm in a little over my head.

Heat Pump Design: Components & Assembly Guide

Trying something different, higher COP, smaller components. Looking to go green. We are realizing however that its a bit out of our league right now. Would you have any resources for designing a heat pump (sizing components and what not) for using R134A as the working fluid?

Heat Pump Design: Components & Assembly Guide

Nobody has an idea? I am stuck beyond stuck. Havent dealt with this kind of thing before and it hard to find resources.

Why do pistons rotate in only one direction?

BRP has electronic reverse on my of there skidoo snowmobiles. It shuts the engine down and starts it up in the reverse direction to allow the snowmobile to back up. Great invention. Lightweight and reliable!

Heat Pump Design: Components & Assembly Guide

Hey guys, I'm looking at designing a heat pump system that uses CO2 as the working fluid. I'm not exactly sure how to pick the components that I need like a compressor, expansion valve, etc. I am trying to create an experimental device that will work in conjunction with my CO2 thermosyphon...

Building a CO2 Thermosyphon: Tips for Compressing Gas to 7MPa Pressure

Exactly high pressure will cause CO2 to liquefy thus at roughly 31 degrees it will change state and evaporate. I am a student and I am building this as part of my degree project. We do not need much. We have a very limited budget. I haven't had any experience in doing this so I'm basically...
