FLEXINOL + copper tape seems to be the answer! :D I'm not sure how I will activate it through the copper tube yet. I'll do what they did in the video and weave the flexinol around copper tape and thru the petal fabric, and then ... and then ... haven't gotten to the activation part yet... ;)...
