Thanks a lot for your help!
So if I'm understanding this correctly I draw 1-3i and 1+3i into the plane and get that the base is 6 so I have to have height 3 so the area is 9. So the third root must be either -2 or 4. Is that correct?
Hey everyone! Here I have a problem I don't know how to solve so help would be greatly appreciated!
Homework Statement
Here is an equation z^3+az^2+bz+c where a, b and c are real numbers. If the roots are drawn in the complex plane they form a triangle with area of 9 units. One root of the...
Thanks for the reply! I understand now how to think this but I still get wrong answer. So a=2 and therefore b must be arcsin(2/4) like you said. f(x)^-1 is sin(x/4).
When I put all this into the function I get 2arcsin(1/2) - ∫(from 0 to arcsin(1/2))sin(x/4) = 1.01...
But when I calculate...
Hey guys! I'm not from an English speaking country so I'll do my best to translate. I would appreciate if you could help me with this problem.
1. Homework Statement
Increasing (growing) function is f(0)=0 and f(a)=b and a,b>0
Use ∫(from 0 to a)f(x)dx=ab-∫(from 0 to b)f^-1(x)dx to solve...
Thanks for your reply ehild!
I'm trying to figure this out but I just can't, if stuff doesn't fit perfectly into formulas I just get so lost :(
I got some ideas but they are probably stupid. Should I find what E is and than find s to find how long the ball has moved?
Hello everyone!
I'm trying to solve some physics problems for my school and I'm very bad at it. I've only 1 problem left and I would appreciate it if you guys could point me in the right direction. But I want to say that I'm not from an English speaking country so I'll have to translate the...
