Hi,
I don't know much about science of spectrometry, but I am working on a project where i need to detect and differentiate between different types of material types, and I was just wondering if I can use an Spectrometer such as Desktop Spectrometry Kit v3 (...
And I am sure you can read! and you saw my response to previous comment since you quoted it. I don't expect ZERO change in pressure or flow in the pipe. I would like to minimize it to just get enough energy, NOT totally eliminate it.
I appreciate your suggestion. But I was looking for this kind of cylindrical impeller because in my project the main challenge is to reduce the resistance to the flow of water. I thought to go with this kind of design (rather than normal typical impeller) since this kind of impeller is not...
hi,
my plan is to place a system like this, inside a water hose (with the diameter of roughly 3cm to 6cm). Then possibly use the rotation made in this way to generated a few mW of power. After design of this turbine blade, I plan to use it as some sort of rotating impeller with some magnets...
Hello everyone,
I need the following but I am not sure if it is possible or not? I don’t have mechanical engineering background. Please advise me on feasibility of this project and any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
I am looking to design a horizontal cylindrical hollow turbine...
hmm this is really interesting idea. From the wikipedia link that you gave me, I read something about Polaroid ZINK that is used on the thermal papers. this might work. I need to think about this more. thanks
well let me be more precise. I am working on a college project and directly drawing on the foams is not exactly the point of this project. I am trying to develop a laser printing method in order to use on a sheet of multi-layered photonic crystal. I am going to use these foams to demonstrate a...
We have these white hard blocks of foams. Something like these ones:

The idea is to soak the surface of these blocks into our transparent solution (ink/dye + etc) and then use a laser to write/draw on the surface of these blocks and then let them dry.
Hello everyone,
I was just wondering if there is any type of transparent ink that could be permanently activated by heat or intense light (laser).
Preferably I am planning to use a laser light to activate the ink.
I am trying to coat a piece of metal (or paper or etc.) with this ink (which is...

Hi,I am currently working on a project on “safety for transportation of crude oil”, I don't have technical background in chemical and material science that is why I need some expert opinions.1- is there and process, chemical or material that can be added to a oil...
Hi Drakkith, I don't think laser is faulty, I think the tolerance is just very tight. I have been trying to tune the laser using frequency, focuse and speed, but I still cannot get a setting that always gives me a consistent outcome.
