    Electricity: Is a Closed Loop Always Required?

    IS Electric always a CLosed Loop? If Electricity pass through a Vaccum tube it is not a closed loop.. So can we consider it as a circuit?? also when we hold a charged conductor earthing take place... So charge flows through us.Can this be a circuit??
