UofT for Physics... Is it really that bad?
I've been searching a lot of the old posts about the undergrad physics program in UofT and got the sense that people are miserable their because their GPA's are kept really low. I'm going to accept an offer to either Waterloo or UofT before May 28, and...
I am in my last year of high school and going to waterloo in Semptember for Mathematical Physics.
I applied for the mathematical physics program twice, once from the Math Faculty and once from their Science Faculty.
I don't know which one to choose, many of the courses are overlapping...

Need help in filling out "Tell us about yourself" form
Most of you probably done this before; I need to write a little thing to "tell us about yourself" for university admission.
I'm doing one for the University of Waterloo right now...
I want to get into graduate school when I'm done and get a phd, would it be better to end up with the ~5% lower mark in U of T or the higher mark in Waterloo?
I'm going to apply to university in the next few months, and I plan to go to Waterloo for physics or for their mathematical physics program. my other choice would be Queen's.

does one of the particle-antiparticle pair have to tunnel out of the space near the event horizon in order to get out and get recorded as hawking raditation? because won't parts of the wavefunctionof the pair that will escape be kind of in the event horizon.
