At all costs, ignore this incredibly awful advice. You never know when such a lie will catch up with you, and when it does you are toast, and more or less forever.AUMathTutor said:Well, you could always start an organization for anything, and say you're the founder. Who cares if you're the only member and if the group never does anything. The fancier the name, the better. You could always lie about what the group does, or actually do some very small things that technically qualify...
AUMathTutor said:Or, you know, start a real organization. That sounds like a hassle to me.
Admission people are usually able to differentiate between the candidate who spends every Saturday tutoring at a storefront literacy center and the classmate who spent an hour on the Students Against Styrofoam Dance Decoration Committee.

He didn't say he wanted to do something he cared about. He didn't say he wanted to mature. He said he wanted to game the system. I told him out to give it a shot. If he's serious about gaming the system, he can get away with it. I would write a self-help book about the subject, but I'm just too apathetic.

I was inspired to write this book because I wanted to share my personal experience of transferring to a state university with others who may be going through a similar journey. I also wanted to provide helpful insights and advice for those considering transferring to a state university.
What makes my transfer experience unique is that I transferred to a state university from a community college, which is a common path for many students. However, I faced several challenges and obstacles along the way, such as adjusting to a larger campus and navigating the transfer process. I believe my experience can offer valuable insights for others in similar situations.
This book covers a wide range of topics related to transferring to a state university, including the benefits of transferring, the transfer application process, adjusting to campus life, and tips for academic success. Readers can also expect to gain insight into my personal experiences and lessons learned throughout my transfer journey.
I conducted my research through a combination of personal experiences, interviews with other transfer students and university officials, and thorough research on the transfer process and resources available for transfer students. I also drew from my background as a scientist to approach the writing process with a critical and analytical mindset.
I hope readers take away the message that transferring to a state university is a challenging but rewarding journey. I want to encourage and inspire other transfer students to persevere through any obstacles and to make the most out of their transfer experience. Ultimately, I hope this book serves as a helpful guide and resource for those considering or currently going through the transfer process.
